It began with a meeting in a bar during the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Four years later, an Australian law graduate marries Denmark's crown prince in a royal wedding. A prince-and-commoner wedding is nothing new in this nation of 5.4 million. But if the commoner is also a foreigner, a crash course in Danish ways is expected. Crown Prince Frederik and his 32-year-old bride, Mary Donaldson, were set to exchange vows at Copenhagen's Our Lady Lutheran Cathedral before 800 guests, including European and Asian royals, Danish and Australian dignitaries and close friends.
